  3.                             Schedule of Canada

  6.      Canada takes an exception to Article 1103 for all
  7. international agreements (bilateral and multilateral) in force or
  8. signed prior to the date of entry into force of this Agreement.
  9.  
  10.      As for international agreements other than those in force or
  11. signed prior to the date of entry into force of this Agreement,
  12. Canada takes an exception to Article 1103 for those agreements
  13. involving:
  14.  
  15.  
  16. 1.   Aviation; 
  17.  
  18. 2.   Fisheries; 
  19.  
  20. 3.   Maritime matters, including salvage; or
  21.  
  22. 4.   Telecommunications.
  23.  
  24.      With respect to provincial measures not yet described in
  25. Annex I, pursuant to paragraph 2 of Article 1108, Canada takes an
  26. exception for international agreements signed within two years of
  27. the entry into force of this Agreement.
  28.  
  29.      For greater certainty, the Parties note that Article 1103
  30. does not apply to any current or future foreign aid programs to
  31. promote economic development, such as those governed by the
  32. Energy Economic Cooperation Program with Central America and the
  33. Caribbean (Pacto de San José) and the OECD Agreement on Export
  34. Credits.
